Ctrl + z = undo

Shortcut known by every graphic artist or designer. Pressing this combination will undo the last action performed. Very useful when you move something and find that previously it was better or accidentally delete an item. This shortcut often saved my skin, when creating tutorials.

Ctrl + y = redo

Opposite of the shortcut above. With it you can reverse undoing any action. When you cancel to many actions, this shortcut will allow you to restore it.

Ctrl + c = copy

This shortcut does not need explanation. It is part of the famous “copy-paste” method. You can copy any items and paste them on any subpage of your site. And you do that by...

Ctrl + v = paste

This shortcut completes the above-mentioned “copy-paste” method. You can paste previously copied or cut items into any subpage. The elements appear on top of the layer stack, and if they cover something they shouldn't, just move them lower in the hierarchy of layers.

Ctrl + x = cut

This shortcut remove selected items from the site, but allows you to paste it elsewhere. Please note that if you cut several elements, you will be able to paste only the one cut last, the other will be removed.

Ctrl + a = select all

This shortcut allows you to select all the elements on the site.

Delete

To quickly get rid of the unwanted element from a website, select it and press the delete key. You can select any number of items. If you delete something that should remain on the site, you can quickly fix your error using ctrl + z (undo).

Shift + changing element size = maintaining proportions

When you want to change the size of an element on a website, but you wish that aspect ratio remain unchanged (eg. an image or logo) then you can use the shift key.

While holding the shift grab one of the edges of the element and drag the mouse to resize it. The second dimension also automatically changes so the proportions of the element will be maintained.

Shift + dragging element = Move element along vertical or horizontal axis

When you want to move an element in only one axis, you can do this by pressing the Shift key, holding it down and dragging the item. Webwave creator will recognize if the movement is to be vertically or horizontally based on your mouse movement.

Arrows or Shift + arrows = moving elements

Select one or more elements and press one of arrows. Elements will move by one pixel in the indicated direction. If you press shift + arrow element will move by 10 pixels.

Ctrl + dragging element = Move the element ignoring guides

When you want to precisely set an item, and it always snap to one of the guides, simply move it while holding down Ctrl. The guides will be ignored and the element will not catch them.
