Visibility of elements in RWD modes can be different, everything depends on "our" needs. At the moment when we customize a page for specific views, the question arises: Do we have to use all the available elements? The answer to this question is: we don't. The principle of the items visibility management interface is simple.
The first steps should lead towards selecting the subpage (the upper right corner) on which we want to hide any element.
We choose any editing mode for the RWD view.
In one of the modes, let's say – “mobile vertical”, we can go to the layers in the bottom right corner of the editor and proceed to select the visibility of the items in the selected mode. We do this by deselecting the icons representing the devices. For example, we can select a RWD folder with its content.
Deselecting one of the icons, for example for the already mentioned "mobile vertical", will hide all the items contained in the RWD folder for the subpage on which it was done. The same applies to any other item that has been deselected.
As we can see, the possibility to edit visibility on selected subpages for specific modes may prove to be a pretty useful solution, especially if we want to hide something that may be unnecessary in a smaller resolution.
