In WebWave - webstie builder without coding - "Log in" element allows users to log in to your website and thus gain access to the content available only to persons who have the appropriate permissions.
With this element, user can also create account on the website.
To add a “Log in” to the website, just click on the icon in the Tools menu, or drag the icon to the page.
When you select the “Log in” item in the bottom panel, you can change the following parameters:
“Log in” panel status defines the appearance of the panel when the user is logged in or not. Available statuses are:
Not logged in – the appearance of the “Log in” panel when the user is not logged on the website.
Logged in – the appearance of the “Log in” panel when the user is logged on to the website.
In the logging options, it can be specified whether users can create a new account on the site or not. If users can not create their own accounts on the website, webmasters and editors of the site will do it for them. As a result, it is possible to restrict access to the content on the website only to selected groups (eg. those who have paid the subscription fee).
You can change the appearance of the “Log in” element in the same way as all the other elements in the WebWave editor. Just highlight the item and in the bottom panel you can change its settings. To change the appearance of the text on the item, click the item twice. It will open text editor panel.
To change the appearance of the item, depending on whether the user is logged in, select the item and in the bottom panel, select the “Logged in” option in the “Log in panel status" box. From now on you you can edit how this panel will look like when the user is logged in.
